Its the brainchild of Cole Kurtz , a rad skater with a distinctive style. He can currently be found sliding around corners in a hands nose blunt. Its impressive to say the least. Another good option in that same vein of style is the Hippo. Longboard larry is at the heart of so many huge and overarching trends in longboarding.

For example — drop decks with kicktails. The DK penguin was one of the very first slightly dropped boards with a kick tail, and it was popularized overnight by Mr. Hutton in his infamous otang video. Starting in high school and using an old ski press to make boards, he quickly began to have a knack for it. Over time, he kept building longboards and he soon had a growing customer base. In , starting in a square foot shed with 2 employees, Longboard Larry was officially born.
